Services
We have invested in state of the art facilities, enabling us to offer a comprehensive range of services, from routine check-ups to complex diagnostics, in a comfortable environment designed with your pet's well-being in mind. Our compassionate team utilises cutting-edge technology to ensure your pet receives the best possible care.

Consultations
Our consultations are a dedicated time with your nominated vet, as a minimum length of 15 minutes per appointment, but this time can be lengthened as needed. The appointment includes taking a thorough history regarding your pet’s condition, conducting a full nose to tail examination and discussing recommended treatments or diagnostic options.

CT scanning
Our state-of-the-art CT scanner provides detailed 3D images of your pet's internal structures, allowing for precise diagnosis of a wide range of conditions. This advanced imaging technology aids in the diagnosis of complex fractures and trauma cases, joint conditions, tumours, and more.
We are one of very few first opinion practices in Suffolk with this level of diagnostic equipment and can offer this service to both existing clients as well as taking referrals from other practices.

Laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery
Our Keyhole spays offer a safer and less invasive technique for neutering, giving a much faster recovery time and dramatically increased post-operative comfort levels.
We are one of the few practices in Suffolk to offer this procedure, and can offer this to our existing clients, as well as taking referrals from other practices.

Ophthalmology
Vet Jo holds the highly esteemed Advanced Practitioner status in Small Animal Ophthalmology, demonstrating her advanced knowledge and expertise in understanding, diagnosing and treating conditions related to the eye and its surrounding structures. Jo is experienced in surgeries such as entropion corrections, complex corneal ulcer repair, cherry eye procedures and many more. She is very happy to accept referrals from other practices for ophthalmology cases.

Emergency and critical patients
Vet Jess is a postgraduate certificate holder in Emergency and Critical Care. Her advanced training ensures pets in our care receive the highest level of medical and surgical care in their most vulnerable moments.
Our high level skills and equipment means we can provide immediate stabilisation, expert patient monitoring and intervention, and intensive care when needed.

Endoscopy
Endoscopy describes the use of a tiny flexible camera to examine internal organs, allowing for the visualisation the inside of the stomach, intestines or respiratory tract. This allows for the non-invasive retrieval of foreign bodies and obtaining biopsies.

Ultrasonography
With the use of our hospital-grade ultrasound machine, we are able to offer advanced abdominal and heart scans (echocardiograms), providing detailed and accurate diagnostics for your pet. Ultrasound is also key in diagnosing and treating critically injured or unwell pets, allowing for the detection and monitoring of fluid and masses in the chest and abdomen.

Radiography
Our advanced digital radiography equipment allows our team to take a deeper look at concerns of bones, joints and soft tissue conditions. It is a non-invasive and quick imaging modality, used to screen for fractures or disolcations, joint issues or internal organ changes.

In-house laboratory
Our laboratory allows for the immediate testing of blood and urine samples. This means we can diagnose the cause of your pet’s illness quickly and efficiently, meaning we can start appropriate treatment straightaway. Some more complex tests may need to be sent to a local external laboratory.

Dentistry
Our team offers a comprehensive approach to dental care, right from advice on brushing, or other products to help prevent periodontal disease, through to dental cleanings (descale and polish procedures), up to complex surgical extractions. Regular dental care is essential for your pet’s overall well-being, and our dedicated team is here to help maintain excellent oral health.

Dental x-ray
Radiographs of the teeth allow us to detect problems beneath the gum line, such as hidden infections, bone loss, or damaged roots, which are not always visible in a regular exam. X-rays help our diagnose and treat dental issues more accurately, keeping your pet’s mouth healthy and pain-free. Dental x-rays are included in the cost of all dental procedures.

Orthopaedic procedures
We can offer orthopaedic operations here on site, with the help and expertise of experienced local veterinary surgeons, Laurie and Simon. Between the team, we can perform arthroscopy procedures, fracture repairs, patella surgeries, TPLOs for cruciate ligament disease and much more.

Soft tissue surgery
In addition to the routine neutering procedures for dogs, cats, rabbits and small furries, we offer a wide range of soft tissue surgeries for routine cases, as well as emergencies. Our skills encompass operations varying from lump removals to hernia corrections, wound sutures to spleen or thyroid gland removals, entropion correction to emergency bloat surgery. Our well equipped theatres ensures we can monitor each patient as well as possible.

Stem cell therapy
This modern and minimally invasive treatment offers a regenerative approach to easing joint pain. Stem cells can help repair damaged tissues, reduce inflammation, and restore mobility in uncomfortable joints, such as those affected by osteoarthritis or elbow dysplasia.

Inpatient care
Our separate dog and cat wards both have spacious kennels, which are all lined with orthopaedic mattresses and cosy bedding. If your pet has been hospitalised with us or had surgery with us and needs to stay overnight for their recovery, they will remain here with us on site and be looked after by one of our dedicated nurses or vets.

Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy is used for certain types of cancer in pets, either alone or alongside other therapies. It works by targeting rapidly dividing cancer cells to slow or stop their growth. Our vets customise each treatment plan to suit your pet’s condition, aiming to maintain comfort and quality of life throughout, whilst ensuring side effects are kept to a minimum.

Nurse consultations
Our Nurse Consults offer dedicated time with our knowledgeable nurses to address your pet's specific needs. From dental hygiene and weight control to mobility and nutrition, our Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) will help you keep your companion happy and healthy. We can also provide guidance and support with monthly injections, senior pet checks, and blood pressure monitoring.

Senior pet appointments
Our experienced nursing team lead our free of charge senior pet appointments for pets aged 8 or over. Appointments include a full health check, mobility and body condition assessment, advice on nutrition and feeding, nail clipping, exercise and physiotherapy recommendations, blood pressure check and much more.

Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is a minimally invasive treatment that uses targetted freeze treatment on problem areas. Our veterinary team use it to remove small superficial skin lumps, and treat ingrown or abnormal eyelashes, called dystichia or ectopic cilia. We are happy to offer this to our own clients, as well as accepting referrals from local practices.

Hip and elbow scoring
We offer BVA-approved hip and elbow scoring to assess joint health in dogs, particularly breeds prone to hip dysplasia or elbow dysplasia. These radiographic evaluations help breeders make informed decisions and allow owners to support their pet’s long-term mobility and comfort. Our experienced team ensures a calm, safe process and accurate imaging for reliable results.

Home visits
We understand that some pets feel more at ease in their own environment. A home visit ensures your pet receives the care they need in the comfort and privacy of your home. Whether it’s a routine check-up or special care, we are here to provide compassionate and personalised attention.

Animal Health Certificates
Traveling internationally with your pet? As Government listed Official Veterinarians (OVs), Vets Jo and George are qualified to provide the required health certificates and ensure your pet meets travel regulations.

Dermatology and immunotherapy
Vets Jess and George have a keen interest in helping pets with long-term skin, ear or anal gland conditions. They focus on uncovering underlying causes such as allergies (like atopic dermatitis or food intolerances) or endocrine conditions, allowing them to offer tailored diagnostics and treatments, such as allergen testing, immunotherapy and supplements, to restore your pet's skin health and comfort.
